Kate Middleton was spotted shopping in Gap for baby clothes


Kate Middleton has done a last minute dash for baby supplies before heading off on her royal tour of Australia and New Zealand on 7 April with Prince William and Prince George.

The Duchess of Cambridge was spotted in her local Gap, just a short journey from the Kensington Palace apartment she shares with Prince William and baby George, flanked by three bodyguards.

Kate reportedly racked up a £126 bill after purchasing several items for 8-month-old George (and a couple for herself, notch), including a couple of babygrows, denim shorts and some cotton trousers – all things that the young Prince will need on his first royal tour Down Under.

And we've all seen from the recent official family portrait that Prince George is already becoming something of a young trendsetter, what with his slogan sweater bearing his own name that he wore for the Mother's Day snap.

We think we might be becoming more interested in Prince Geroge's wardrobe than Kate's...
