Kate Middleton opted for a dress from one of her most trusted designers, Temperley London, to attend the SportsAid ball in London last night.
The dress, named the Templeton Dress, sold out online within minutes of pictures emerging showing Kate wearing it. The 31-year old finished her simple and sleek look with a pair of Jimmy Choos and a pillarbox red clutch.
Leaving Prince William at home to look after baby Prince George, the Duchess looked glowing as she stepped out in the black crocheted number to present an award at the SportsAid charity ball for which she is a patron.
Kate has proved herself to be an active patron for the charity: back in October, fresh from maternity leave, Kate tried her hand at a spot of volleyball when she last paid a visit to the SportsAid athletes.
Last night's SportsBall was held to honour the achievements of young atheletes that have benefited from the charity, as well as celebrate the sports stars of the future.
Of course, it made sense that Kate would choose Temperley for her evening out. Last year, Kate also took to the red carpet in a black lace gown by Temperley, and more recently attended the Cenotaph in a navy coat by the designer.
