Kate Middleton may have a wardrobe brimming with beautiful designer dresses, but, as we all well know by now, she's also a dab hand at finding a bargain, too.
Showing that high street clothes can pack as strong a punch as designer, the Duchess of Cambridge today stepped out in a dress from ASOS, which cost a penny-pinching £35.
The expectant mother was glowing in the monochrome polka dot frock, which is part of the online retailer's maternity wear collection, as she paid a visit to the Brookhill Children's Centres in south east London where she met volunteers and staff of charity Home-Start and the families that rely on it.
No surprises, given Kate's influence and the bargain price, that the dress has already sold out. But if you're not one of those few super-speedy shoppers lucky enough to have got the dress through the checkout before they all ran out, fear not! ASOS has announced that the dress will be available again next week – so keep an eye out…
Fashion aside, the Duchess also let slip a VERY exciting piece of baby-related information whilst chatting to volunteers at children's centre. Asked by volunteer Christine Osborne when she was expecting, Kate answered 'mid-to-end of April.' So there you have it: we have a due date, people!
