The nation has been waiting for the birth of the Royal baby since early July, but it looks like Kate Middleton’s mum Carole Middleton knew all along that the tot would be arriving today.
With neither Kate Middleton and Prince William nor the Palace making an official announcement on the expected date, Kate only let slip she was expecting the new arrival some time in “mid-July”. Although it was originally thought she was due on 13 July 2013, Carole Middleton told sources that the baby would be born under the star sign Leo, which would pin the Royal Birth to today.
With the Duchess of Cambridge in labour in the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s hospital since 5.30am this morning, it’s likely that as Carole predicted, the Royal baby will be born today.
We’ll keep you updated on the Royal baby developments as we have them.
