Kate Middleton with baby George on the Royal Tour in April

Kate Middleton has been speaking on our favourite topic: Prince George, and has revealed some very exciting news.

According to the Duchess, the 10-month-old tot has taken his first steps, and is walking around without the help of his mum or dad. It's not clear when George hit the milestone but with the average age for walking between 6 and 10 months, he's pretty spot on.

How time flies: Kate and Will's first appearance with George last July

We can't help thinking, Kate must be having a rather busy time at the moment: looking after a toddler, plus the birthday of her grandfather-in-law and redecorating the family home on the Sandringham Estate. But if her cool, calm and collected appearances at the Royal Maritime Museum and Buckingham Palace earlier this week are anything to go by, she looks like she's taking it all in her stride.
