Kate Middleton has just arrived at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow with her husband Prince William to watch the events taking place on the tournaments fifth day of action.

While they haven't taken their super-cute son George – who just celebrated his first birthday last week – along for the trip, Prince Harry has accompanied them to take in the days festivities.

Wearing a seriously cool and offbeat ensemble made up of her favourite Stuart Weitzman wedges, J Brand jeans and chic navy Zara military jacket, Kate looked effortlessly gorgeous in her casual attire. Her hair was styled in her signature glossy blow-dry and, in true Duchess-form, she kept her make-up flawlessly natural. Well, if it ain't broke...

This isn't the first time Kate has been keen to support her country in high-profile sporting events; she continually graces the Royal Box and Wimbledon and was snapped countless times at the London 2012 Olympic Games cheering on the British teams. So, we can imagine that this is one royal duty that she was looking forward to attending.

Although we love seeing Kate in her formal frocks and heels, you have to admit that she looks way more at ease when she wears her trusty skinny jeans and favourite shoes. Clearly, she's a girl after our own hearts...
