The day we had all been anticipating finally arrived as Kate Middleton gave birth to a baby boy at 4.24pm on 22 July 2013.
The birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's baby boy was announced by an official notification outside Buckingham Palace where the traditional easel was displayed with the time of birth. The baby’s full weight of 8lbs 6oz was announced via Clarence House's Twitter page.
Kate Middleton was said to have given birth to the Royal baby naturally instead of turning to hypnobirthing as previously reported.
New parents William and Kate yesterday told the world: "We could not be happier" about the arrival of their first child who was born at the private Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the new Prince are expected to take time to rest before heading to Kate’s parents home for six weeks where a pre-designed nursery has already been made-up for the Royal baby. We can't wait to see the pictures!
