It looks like newborn Prince Cambridge is already developing his own character, with Prince William’s first words to the assembled press, ”he has a good pair of lungs". The doting dad seemed thrilled to be showing off his first born child to the world and went on to make a few cheeky comments joking that the new Prince has his mother’s looks and luckily already has more hair than him!

THE ROYAL FAMILY SPEAK OUT ABOUT THE NEW PRINCE CAMBRIDGE

Looking radiant in a blue bespoke Jenny Packham dress and white Pied A Terre wedges, Kate Middleton kept a watchful eye on her new baby as her husband answered a few questions, adding that the birth was "very emotional... such a special time". Unfortunately the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge didn’t yet give an answer to the question on everyone’s lips – the name of the new baby.

After meeting with the media the new Royal family then made the journey back to Kensington Palace where baby boy Cambridge will spend his first few weeks. Prince William will be taking two weeks paternity leave from his job with the RAF.
