Just eleven days after the birth of their first child, Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton are making plans to ensure their new son will be raised in as normally as possible.
Unlike her husband Wills, Kate grew up out of the spotlight, and they are both said to be keen to ensure Prince George has a similar childhood.
The rest of the Royal family have already expressed their hope that baby George will grow up in a similar style, with Prince Harry stating after his nephew’s birth that he wants “to make sure he has a good upbringing and to keep him out of harm's way and make sure he has fun”.
A large part of Kate and William’s plans will include Prince George’s education. Both the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have reportedly expressed that they do not want their son to attend boarding school, as Prince William did, but instead will grow up with both his parents around him.
The couple and their new baby are currently living with Kate’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton in their house in Bucklebury while Prince William enjoys two weeks paternity leave from his job with the RAF. They are expected to return to London shortly, with the christening of baby George taking place soon after that.
