Karl Lagerfeld Does Not Think Cara Delevingne Has A Beautiful Face

The legendary Chanel designer shares a surprising opinion about the British model...

Karl Lagerfeld has never been one to shy awar from an outspoken statement or two. But even we were surprised by his latest comments about his favourite catwalk strutter, Cara Delevingne.

Despite the fact that the British model was spotted walking hand in hand with the Chanel guru just a few weeks ago as she closed his spectacular Paris Fashion Week supermarket show, the 80-year-old fashion legend has been laying into the leggy lady's looks.

'She is not a standout beauty,' Karl told The Gaurdian. 'Was it Bacon who said, "There is not beauty without some strangeness in the proportions"?'

Okay, so we're sure he meant it in the nicest possible way. But still, any claim that Cara's photo-perfect visage doesn't translate into beauty of seriously epic proportions is certainly a bold one.

In typical Uncle Karl style, the designer also had something to say about selfies. Regarding the social media phenomenon, Lagerfeld said: 'They are this horrible thing where you are distorted. The chin is too big, the head is too small. No, this is electronic masturbation.'

We know what not to expect from his Instagram account, then...
