Last week Justin Timberlake fuelled rumours that he was set to return to the music business after saying he was "ready" for a new record. Continuing to tease fans, he then sent a series of cryptic tweets on Friday, including: "To whom it may concern...I think I'm READY! #JT2013" and a link to a new specially created website.
The domain was home to a countdown as well as a video of JT in the studio. Fast-forward to Sunday and fans were able to play Justin's brand-new track, Suit & Tie.
Featuring Jay-Z, it's the first single from Justin's new album, The 20/20 Experience, which is slated for release later this year. The record has been co-written and co-produced by Timbaland, who was also responsible for Justin's Grammy-winning FutureSex/LoveSounds.
Explaining the new venture in an open letter on the site, Justin wrote: "Back in June of last year, I quietly started working on what is now my next journey with that thing I love called music."
"The inspiration for this really came out of the blue and to be honest, I didn't expect anything out of it. I just went into the studio and started playing around with some sounds and songs," he continues. "It was probably the best time I've ever had in my career... Just creating with no rules and/or end goal in mind."
It's official - Justin's brought sexy back.
