The Golden Globe nominations are the first whiff of awards season and we couldn’t be more excited. In the running for this year’s ceremony, which will be hosted by Ricky Gervais on 15 January, is our latest girl crush, Rooney Mara for Best Actress in a Drama for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The new-comer will go head-to-head in the category with veterans Meryl Streep for her role in Iron Lady and Kate Winslet for Carnage. Meanwhile, Michelle Williams received a nod for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in My Week With Marilyn.

On the boys front, it’s hotties all the way with George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling, Michael Fassbender and Leonardo DiCaprio all vying for the Best Actor in a Drama award.
