The Golden Globes celebrations may have still been going strong, but there’s no time like the present during awards season and back in London, Daniel Radcliffe revealed the BAFTA nominations this morning with The Artist, Michelle Williams, Meryl Streep and George Clooney in contention.

Golden Globe winners Meryl Streep, George Clooney and Michelle Williams were back in the running for a BAFTA, alongside stars including Tilda Swinton, Viola Davis, Michael Fassbender and Brad Pitt for the Leading Actor and Actress categories.

And received just as well here as across the pond, The Artist leads the nominations board, up for a total of 12 awards, including Best Film, Best Director and Original Screenplay. But British film Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy stands close behind the French flick with 11 nominations.
