The Jungle Book is causing everyone a LOT of confusion lately. Nope, it’s surprisingly not because of the talking animals, but more to do with the fact there are not one, but two remakes due out in the next couple of years, both with superstar casts. If this is getting too much to handle already – don’t worry! We break down everything you need to know about both Jungle Book flicks coming your way.
Disney is behind The Jungle Book, while Warner Brothers have titled their remake Jungle Book: Origins. We’ll call the Warner Brothers’ offering Origins from now on, to avoid confusion.
The trailer for Disney’s The Jungle Book is pretty intense, and the special effects are incredible – watch it for yourself below. As for Origins, the film has finished filming, but there’s no trailer just yet. Watch this space!

Origins: Rohan Chand
The Jungle Book: Bill Murray

The Jungle Book: Ben Kingsley
Origins: Christian Bale
The Jungle Book: Idris Elba
Origins: Benedict Cumberbatch
The Jungle Book: Lupita Nyong’o

Disney’s The Jungle Book will also see Garry Shandling play Ikki the porcupine, and Christopher Walken as King Louie. Origins has no word on whether these characters will make an appearance in their remake.
