Julianne Moore in The Hunger Games

Julianne might look distraught but her hair is totally on-point...

The Hunger Games

Jennifer Lawrence is back, reprising her role as beloved heroine Katniss Everdeen in the next highly anticipated film in The Hunger Games series, Mockingjay (Part 1). And, although we have to wait until November to see the film in full, the HG camp has just given us a sneak-peek of the movie. Eek!

That's right, the official teaser trailer is finally here. It might be just a minute in length but it's packed full of amazing clips, giving us a real sense of what the film will be like. Opening to a scene of a harsh, industrial landscape, this clearly sets the tone for the rest of the clip, showcasing Katniss leading the Panem rebellion.

The clip also introduces Julianne Moore as President Alma Coin - the first time we've seen her in the franchise - and, while we get that she's supposed to look somber and gritty, we reckon she pulls off grey tresses like a pro. Well, grey locks are having a moment after all...

Jennifer looks just as fierce in the trailer as she dramatically teams up with rebel fighters. Clad in black, carrying her weapon of choice and with her hair styled in a loosely-done plait, it's clear that the hairstylist on set is clued up on all the latest 'do trends.

It looks like someones been putting their cleanse-tone-moisturise routine to good use too; how we wish we looked like J-Law without our make-up on. Her skin is a fresh-faced dream.

Tragically the late, great Philip Seymour Hoffman passed away before the filming of the blockbuster was complete, meaning that many of the scenes he was originally scripted in had to be modified. However, we're heart-warmed to see that his last ever role as the former head game-maker Plutarch Heavensbee has been given the screen-time it truly deserves, not only featuring in but also narrating the trailer.

Oh, and did we mention that hunky Liam Hemsworth makes an all-too-brief appearance too? We could stare into those blue eyes for days...

Yep, we'll be playing this clip on loop until the film comes out. Roll on November 21st...
