Jessica Alba has, at some point, quietly become one of America's richest self-made women.
We never exactly thought the actress was strapped for cash, (after all, Jess has been working in Hollywood for a fair while) but we never knew she's made THIS much money. And it's not films that have made her jaw-droppingly rich, but her business; The Honest Company.
Jessica founded her company, which specialises in selling eco-friendly and non-toxic body and household products, in 2012. And in just three short years, The Honest Co. has been valued at $1 billion and has amassed Jessica a personal fortune of $200 million. Quite frankly, who knew?
However, even that much cash wasn't enough for the mother-of-two to break into the top 50 richest self-made women in America. Beyonce and, er, Judge Judy came in joint place at number 49 with an estimated net worth of $250 million.
And the richest of them all? That accolade goes to 31-year-old Elizabeth Holmes, founder and CEO of blood donor company Theranos, who is reckoned to be worth a whopping $4.5 BILLION.
Time to put the business plan into action...
