Jennifer Lopez touched down in Paris today for the start of Couture Fashion Week and her first fashionable port of call was Versace. The 44-year-old singer, who is friends with the brand's creative director Donatella Versace, stopped by to show her support as she sat on the FROW at the '50s inspired catwalk show wearing one of Donatella's newest creations; the trouser-dress.
Featuring one beaded full length trouser leg that blends into a daring thigh-split dress, this is definitely one outfit that you wouldn't want to pull on in a hurry.
The bandeau bodice and floor-length 'skirt' of the dress are made of a plain white silky fabric, allowing the adorned trouser to really come through as the main focus on the quirky look.
Homing in on the brands subtly grunge aesthetic, the dress is finished with statement, vampy buckles to the left-hand side, which JLo picked accentuated with her heavy metal earrings, bangle and box clutch. Her shoes matched the white tone of her ensemble perfectly, neatly pulling her outfit together.
Easily one of the most unique designs we've seen this year; although it packs a dramatic fashion hit, this is one look we can't see going mainstream... Kudos to Jennifer for pulling it off with ease.
