Jennifer Lawrence Still Has Her Work Cut Out Winning Over This Hollywood Star

When she was asked what she thought of Jennifer Lawrence, one A-list actress did not mince her words...

She's widely considered to be one of the most likeable actresses in Hollywood. In fact, you'd be hard-pressed to find an A-lister with a bad word to say about Jennifer Lawrence.

Bradley Cooper called her 'incredible', while stars ranging from Rihanna, Jack Nicholson, Harry Styles and Channing Tatum have queued up to sing her praises.

That very down-to-earth approach to fame - goofing about at the Oscars and promoting a 'strong not skinny' body image - has been widely celebrated as a breath of fresh air.

Surely there's no-one who doesn't like Jennifer Lawrence, right?

It turns out there's still one A-lister who hasn't completely fallen for Jennifer's charms. Discussing her fellow actresses in an interview for V Magazine, Chloe Sevigny said 'I love when a movie star is a great movie star... I think Angelina is a great movie star. I like Emma Stone. Whenever she’s herself, she’s really cute.'

But then she went onto deliver the hammer blow. 'Jennifer Lawrence I find annoying. Too crass.' she said, adding '[I'm] afraid that maybe people think there's more personality than acting ability’.

Ouch. Though she did go on to admit that Jennifer's outgoing personality had serious pulling power. ‘So much is about marketing and selling the product' she pointed out, ‘they'll have a really peppy funny girl on the talk show rounds, and everybody adores her and loves her and wants to be her or f***her, and then so many more people want to watch the movie or TV show. I understand that star quality, how much value that carries.’

But while Chloe Sevigny might not love Jennifer Lawrence's particular salt-of-the-earth style, we most certainly do.

I mean, come on. How could you not love her for this?

Or this?

Or this?!

(one year later)

Not even this??

Ah well. Never mind, J-Law, you can't win 'em all...
