Jennifer Lawrence is to take a well-earned rest from the movie business, according to film producer, Harvey Weinstein.
The Hunger Games star has made eight films in the past 12 months, so is reportedly going to take it easy for a year. It sounds fair enough to us.
Speaking to the Sun on Sunday, Weinstein said: 'Jennifer is too nice and will do people favours and agrees to do a movie like American Hustle when she could have had a rest.'
'She signed on to do Hunger Games when she was young and wouldn't have realised how much it would dominate her life. But she's a professional and always will be,' the producer continued.
J Law is up for a Best Supporting Actress award at this Sunday's Oscars for her role in American Hustle, which could mean a two-year consecutive for the young star.
Jennifer has already bagged a Golden Globe as well as a Bafta for the same role, but was notably absent from the London award ceremony. 'It's been non-stop for her and she deserves a rest', Weinstein said in her defence.
So what will J Law do with her time off? Well, if rumours are to be believed, the actress may be house hunting here in the UK with her boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult. Perhaps we'll see more of Jennifer than we thought.
But the 23-year-old still have several films still to come out, including the next X Men instalment, as well as two further Hunger Games movies. So, thankfully, we'll still be able to get our J Law fix.
