Jennifer Aniston has been hard at work on the promo-tour of her new flick Horrible Bosses 2 but that hasn't stopped us from asking the question that has been on our lips since May 6th 2004; when is this Friends reunion going to happen, already?! Sadly, it seems like Jen is one of the original members of the cast holding back on the idea...
Asking the hard questions for us was Graham Norton, who interviewed the 45-year-old actress just this week while she was in London talking about the Horrible Bosses sequel.
Taking her place on the bright red couch alongside her co-star Jason Bateman and singer Olly Murs on The Graham Norton Show, Jen revealed her initial thoughts on a Friends sit-com reunion, saying: 'At this point I honestly think we should just wait until we are really much older and have Golden Friends. Then you wouldn't have the comparison.'
So, is this all that Jennifer is worried about; The COMPARISON? Now, you're just being silly...
Sure, it has been 10 years since the show aired its last-ever episode but in the decade that has past, fans of the show young and old are still calling for their favourite gang to get back together; and they've got to give into the pressure sometime, right?
Jennifer's revelations come after Lisa Kudrow — who played the hilarious Phoebe Buffay in the ten-season show — said that she would definitely consider a reunion while others have also suggested that it would be a nice idea.
We seriously hope Jen is the only cast member holding back on us — we reckon BFF and ex co-star Courteney Cox could sway her if she REALLY wanted to...
We don't know about you but we'd love nothing more than to see how Rachel and Ross have got on over the last while, what Monica and Chandler's kids look like, whether Phoebe ever wrote a Smelly Cat follow-on or if Joey ever managed to settle down.
If Jen's response is anything to go by, however, it looks like we'll have to wait until Friends hit retirement-home age to see them together once again.
