Jennifer Aniston Gives Her Very Honest Opinion Of Amal Clooney...

When Jennifer Aniston was asked what she thought about Amal Clooney's first red carpet appearance at the Golden Globes, she gave a very to-the-point answer...

While the Golden Globes 2015 red carpet with choc-a-block with practically every A-lister worth their salt, all eye were definitely fixed on one of the awards circuits newbies, Amal Clooney.

Having wed Hollywood royality George Clooney back September of last year, this was Amal's first major foray into the starry spotlight and, needless to say, everyone was eager to see how she'd handle it — including Jennifer Aniston it seems...

Jen, who was nominated for the Best Actress Golden Globe award for her role in Indie-hit Cake, was asked how she thought Amal faired on her first big event and, although short and to the point, she could only sing her praises.

When asked what she thought about the 36-year-old human rights lawyer, Jen said: 'Hey, I think if you can save countries, you can walk red carpets. I think that's probably a skip in the park for her.'

Good point.

Jennifer wasn't the only one to pick up on Amal's presence at the Golden Globes either; the show's hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler felt it nessicary to include her and her 53-year-old hubby in their hilarious opening monologue, which would have given those in the room that were unfamiliar with Amal's credentials a little bit of an insight into her rather extraordinary life.

Tina was the one to dish out the laughs with her crack at the famous couple: 'George Clooney married Amal Alamuddin this year. Amal is a human rights lawyer who worked on the Enron case, was an adviser to Kofi Annan regarding Syria, and was selected for a three-person U.N. commission investigating rules of war violations in the Gaza Strip. So tonight, her husband is getting a lifetime achievement award.'

Yep; it looks like Amal has certainly made an impression among her new peers. And a good one at that...

Check out the video of Tina and Amy's opening skit below to see how the crowd reacted to their jibe at Mr & Mrs Clooney.
