Jennifer Aniston has categorically denied claims that she had a love affair with Friends co-star Matt LeBlanc whilst she was still married to Brad Pitt
Jennifer Aniston and Matt LeBlanc shared an on-screen romance during their time as Rachel and Joey on the hit TV series Friends, which divided the fans of the show beyond belief. However, after claims were made by the estranged father of the 47-year-old actor that his son and 46-year-old Jen embarked in a real-life love affair whilst they were filming the show surfaced over the weekend, we began to wonder if life could *really* have began to imitate art between the two co-stars.
However, the major fly in the ointment was the fact that LeBlanc's father claimed that the pair carried out their secret relationship whilst Jen was still married to her first husband Brad Pitt which, needless to say, turned what was initially idle gossip which you'd be naive to take too seriously into something far more hurtful.
And while the award-winning Cake actress usually keeps her cool on the seemingly endless noise surrounding her and her private life but, in this instance, she has felt compelled to set the record straight. We, for one, can't blame her...
A rep for Jennifer has strenuously denied the story, saying: 'It's 100 percent false. Jennifer has never had a romantic or sexual relationship with Matt LeBlanc.'
And there you have it, loud and clear. IT DID NOT HAPPEN, PEOPLE.
Jennifer and Matt characters Rachel and Joey famously had an on-screen relationship into the latter of the shows ten series' but, according to the claims made by LeBlanc's father, their apparent 'affair' happened well before that, during their earlier episodes.
Of course, this isn't the first time that Jen's love life has made the headlines. We don't need to remind you that Jennifer and Brad Pitt's divorce was one of the most-talked about break-ups in celeb history, due mainly to the fact that Brad found love with his own Mr & Mrs Smith co-star Angelina Jolie shortly after they split. However, as Jennifer has said time and time again, that's all water under the bridge.
So, what do we suggest? That we all leave the woman alone! Now that she's engaged and planning her wedding to screenwriter and film producer Justin Theroux, we reckon that whatever did (and, for the record, didn't) happen in the past should remain just there — in the past. Capeesh?
