It’s no secret that Jenna Dewan Tatum loves to dance, so when Ellen DeGeneres asked her to come film a surprise video for her husband Channing Tatum, she was instantly on board. Danskin’s newest ambassador told InStyle US that she didn’t even know what she was signing on to when she showed up for filming.

‘Ellen called me up and asked if I would do it with her, and anytime Ellen asks me anything, it’s an immediate yes. I love her. And then we kind of called around and got some fun people and friends to join in,’ she told InStyle US. ‘We didn’t know what we were doing, we just knew we were doing a parody of Magic Mike to surprise Chan.’

‘We showed up with Ellen and Chrissy [Teigen] was so amazing and Olivia [Munn] was amazing. They were just so game to do whatever and to play and have fun,’ she said, which was lucky because there was a lot of improvisation to be done.

‘We showed up and they had a base script written and then we just sort of expanded on it and we just decided to be the worst strippers in the world. We were laughing so hard. I had tears streaming down my face. I’m off-camera, doing stripper moves for Ellen trying to teach her how to do stripper moves.’

They weren’t the only ones stripping in the hilarious video — Oprah Winfrey made an appearance, although her head was superimposed onto another dancer’s body. While the beloved talk show host did appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to introduce the video, Dewan Tatum revealed that she wasn’t actually there on the day of filming.

‘I actually didn’t know until the morning of that she was going to be involved in it, which was super fun. She’s the best. I wish I had seen her,’ she said.

Luckily, the actress got another chance to meet her ‘idol’ before filming the parody. ‘She does these Super Soul Sunday talks at UCLA, and I went to one because I love Oprah and I love Super Soul Sunday,’ she said. ‘Somebody who works with her said she wanted to meet me so I went backstage and I met her. I had never talked so fast in my entire life or been so nervous to meet anyone. She’s this grounded, awesome human being just like you think Oprah would be.’

As if we needed another reason to be jealous of Mrs. Tatum, she just gave us one. Watch the hilarious parody above.
