With the release of the film that's set to *really* catapult him into stardom now a mere six weeks away, you'd think that actor Jamie Dornan — who, in case you've been living on Mars or somewhere equally as isolated for the last two years, plays Christian Grey in the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey film — would be high on life, bouncing off the ceiling and generally very happy right about now.

However, it seems like the 32-year-old former Calvin Klein model and leading man in hit TV series The Fall has way more foreboding things on his mind...

Chatting to Details magazine, Jamie revealed his worst fear surrounding the Fifty Shades hype, and it all centres around its premiere: 'I almost don't want to put this out there into the ether, but I fear I'll get murdered, like John Lennon, by one of those mad fans at the premiere. Because a lot of people are very angry that I'm playing this character. And I'm a father now, and a husband. I don't want to die yet.'

While we're almost 100% sure Jamie was saying this in jest, he went on to add a rather morbid reflection: 'And when I do get murdered, people will say, "God, isn't it haunting how he did that interview in Details and predicted his own death on the red carpet?"'

Now, come on Jamie. Sure, you probably need to think about hiring some security to escort you into the premiere but it's way more plausible that it'll be to keep the hoards of women throwing themselves at your feet at bay rather than fighting off an impending attack.

We, for one, can think of a couple of people at InStyle HQ that'll gladly stay close to you on the eve of the screening... Just give us a call and we'll work out the deets, ok?
