After proving her street style cred in an array of on-point, '70s inspired outfits Amal has completed her transformation into a bona fide A-list fashion icon thanks to her streak of stunning gowns. From her gladiator inspired frock that she donned to the Met Gala to her simple but super-sophisticated LBD which she sported to the Oscars, she's got this red carpet dressing thing down. However, for her latest public appearance, we reckon she's reached her sartorial peak.
She may have been MIA at the UK premiere of George's new flick Tomorrowland (SOB) but the newlyweds reunited over the weekend for the screening of the 54-year-old actor's movie in Japan, where Amal certainly made up for lost time in the spotlight.
Working a bias cut silk dress from Maison Margiela in a luxe golden yellow hue, Amal looked incredible as she slinked her way up the red carpet with her handsome hubby on her arm. Showing off her svelte figure to perfection, this has to be Amal's sexiest look to date. What's even more impressive is the fact that she managed to colour-match the tricky tone of her dress identically to the colour of her pointed Manolo Blahnik pumps... Outfit co-ordination at it's finest.
While she almost knocked it out of the park with this get-up, there's one teeny tiny thing we think it could have done without — that unnecessary floral corsage to the neckline. Not to be harsh but there's only one lady that will EVER get away with rocking a corsage... Carrie Bradshaw; you're to blame for this madness.
Other than that, this look gets a thumbs up from us, and we should probably get used to seeing Amal's eclectic style on British soil...
George Clooney has now confirmed that he and his 39-year-old barrister wife will move in to their renovated mansion in the picturesque village of Sonning, England by the end of the summer and that they will now be permantly based there. Located about 40 miles outside of London, we'll surely be treated to countless sightings of this pair once they settle into their home in the countryside.
Now, who fancies a trip to the Sonning local on, I don't know — the 31st of August?! The pints are on us, Georgey...
