Avocados on toast, freakshakes, one-pan eggs with chorizo and slow-roast tomatoes… Aside from street style sensations, #foodporn is the one thing that has us double-tapping quicker than you can say ‘would you like sweet potato fries with that’. 2016’s Baking And Food Influencer nominees serve up mouth-watering flavours from all around the world – check them out below, then vote for your favourite at the bottom of this article.
If you already follow Cupcake Jemma, you’ll know that her cupcake recipes are mouth-watering, original and so Instagrammable – hibiscus and vanilla cupcakes, anyone? Sharing recipe tutorials and decoration ideas on her blog and YouTube channel, Jemma Wilson also pens cupcake recipes for Jamie Oliver’s The Cake Book and runs Crumbs & Doilies, the London cake shop selling chocolate chip cookie cream pies, salted caramel pretzel cakes and piñata cupcakes. We’ll take one… of everything.
Top With Cinnamon
Sweet treats with fresh ingredients are Izy Hossack’s signature dish, but we’re crushing on her butternut squash potato cakes and sprouted grain bread with avocado, apple and halloumi, too. 20-year-old Izy studies Food Science & Nutrition at Leeds University, running her food blog Top With Cinammon and writing a cookbook of the same name on the side. Izy serves up plenty of classic, hearty recipes (rye hot cross bun bread? Yes, please), but there’s a decent dose of vegan and gluten-free dishes as well. Did someone say #foodporn?
The Boy Who Bakes
You might remember Edd Kimber from series 1 of The Great British Bake Off, where he stole our hearts with his brioche pudding and banana cakes. After successfully avoiding soggy bottoms and winning the series, Edd’s The Boy Who Bakes has become one of the country’s most popular baking blogs, full of totally tempting recipes and Edd’s culinary travels. He’s baked his way through three cookbooks, and is a TV regular.
