Pop princess Britney Spears launched her forthcoming European Femme Fatale tour during London Fashion Week – and InStyle was there!

Britney Spears launched her upcoming European Femme Fatale tour at the Soho Sanctum Hotel on Friday night – and, naturally, InStyle was invited along to boogie alongside the Baby One More Time singer!

Us fashion folk don’t usually like to queue for celeb bashes (catwalk shows are another matter), but hey, when it’s Britney, we’re willing to stand in line. Security was tight at the hyper-cool Sanctum Soho Hotel and we had to struggle through hordes of paps just to get to the queue. But, once at the door, we were rewarded with the ultimate, a neon pink (how on-trend) wristband emblazoned with BRITNEY SPEARS FEMME FATALE.

An hour or so of cocktails, pink fizz and delicious canapés later (there was a bit of a glossy magazine journalist scrum over the delicious chicken sticks), InStyle was busy having a little bop just two feet away from the door when Britney herself made her cameras-going-crazy entrance. We did a beauty double-take at her gorgeous smokey eye with just a hint of colour, teamed with a ballet-dancer-style high bun, fresh pink blush and lips and gorgeous glowing skin. The I'm a Slave 4U singer has never looked better.

Going low-key on the fashion front – hey, it’s her party, after all – Britters sported a bright green and black body-con dress, giving a nod to the colour-blocking trend. The good news? That cute number is by high-street brand Lipsy! Accessories-wise, it was all about Candies by Britney shoeboots and a killer nude watch by US brand Glam Rock’s Miami range – soon to debut in the UK.

The UK leg of Britney’s Femme Fatale tour begins on 25 October in Belfast. For details and tickets, visit Check out Glam Rock Watches online at or shop for the Britney look at the brand-new Boutique at The Westfield in Stratford and Ernst Jones at Westfield White City, from £295.
