It may have been a typically grey and rainy Sunday in London, but that didn't stop the stars turning up for the annual BAFTA awards held at Covent Garden's Royal Opera House.
And after being treated to a glamorous reception at The Savoy Hotel, InStyle was taken straight to the red carpet to speak to the A-list as they arrived.
Gorgeous actress Emma Stone headed over for a chat and told us she was feeling very star struck and being among so many big stars made her feel “unreal”. The actress was showing off her freshly dyed blonde hair for her forth-coming role in Spiderman.
Best Actor nominee Jesse Eisenberg stopped by to speak to us, saying: “It’s very exciting to be here and so nice to be listed amongst these wonderful actors whom I have been a fan of for so long!” The actor revealed that he wished his success had come later on in his career adding; “It can only go down from here.”
The Harry Potter stars were reunited on the red carpet and InStyle favourite Bonnie Wright popped over for a quick hello! She told us she’d decided to be “a little more daring this year” with her dress choice and opted for a stunning pink and white patterned frock by Clements Ribeiro rather than her usual LBD. The actress said she was most looking forward to “getting back together with old friends” during the evening. No doubt there were plenty of Hogwarts in-jokes!
Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding looked stunning in a scarlet red Georges Chakra dress and told us she was “super-excited” for bandmate Kimberley Walsh, who was presenting the red carpet show on US entertainment channel E! The actress and singer said she was most looking forward to seeing “Colin Firth and Gemma Arterton as I have worked with them both on St Trinians."
T4 presenter Jameela Jamil admitted she felt like “a little kid in a cake shop... I've never been cool and been able to live a life like this so to actually see these people in the flesh is amazing, I want to ask Colin Firth to adopt me!" The model and presenter told us she was going to all the London Fashion Week shows and was most “looking forward to seeing William Tempest, Holly Fulton and Christopher Kane." Her top tip for the red carpet? ”Be comfortable! There’s nothing worse than spending the evening yanking, if you feel good then you'll look good!”
What an amazing night! Don’t forget to check out all the pics from the night in our giant BAFTA GALLERY!!
