Last night, the eleventh annual, uber glam White Tie and Tiara Ball (supported by Chopard) raised approximately £4m for the Elton John Aids Foundation.
And it also seriously raised temperatures when Justin Timberlake took to the stage for a 45 minute performance. (Feel free to call me pervy, but I couldn't take my eyes off his perky behind).
The bash was held in the grounds of Elton John's stately Windsor home. Naturally, I had a peep through the windows and can report back that his sitting room looks very traditional and English (no diamante chandeliers from what I could see).
Then I spent the rest of the evening drooling at The Killers (who were sitting at the "top table" at dinner with Elton); gushing over Kelly Osbourne's amazing fluoro orange McQueen handbag (she got it to match her Mac lippy); talking fashion with Lily Cole and Erin O'Connor at dinner; admiring Claire Danes' stunning metallic Burberry gown (and I took advantage of her visiting the loo to chat to her gorgeous fiancé, Brit actor Hugh Dancy), then ended the evening bopping alongside Graham Norton and his cute young beau when JT hit the stage.
If that wasn't exciting enough JT and his entourage walked out - sweaty and tired - as I was waiting for my car and lovely driver Lenny. (And no, despite Mr Trousersnake being mere inches away, I was too dumbstruck to ask for a kiss. Or even a sweaty handshake).
You had a lucky escape Justin...
(Watch out for the October issue of InStyle, on sale 3 September, for more coverage and gorgeous pictures of the event).
