How Has *This* Kim Kardashian Music Video Only Come To Our Attention Now?!

Before Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's 'Bound 2', there was Kim Kardashian's 'Jam' music vid. And yes, she sings too...

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West stole the headlines when they released their very NSFW video for Kanye's single Bound 2, but did you know that it wasn't Kim's first starring role in a music video? Sure, she's made other cameo appearances but as the main attraction, we thought that was it. How wrong we were...

After a bit of an epic YouTubing session on our part, we cyber-stumbled across this vid which, we've got to admit, we kind of thought was a joke. However, it's no laughing matter.

It probably won't come as that much of a surprise to the most die-hard Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans amongst you but we certainly didn't know that 34-year-old Kimmy released her very OWN single where she does all of her own singing and dancing. Well, if you call writhing around on the floor 'dancing' that is.

This piece of motion picture gold was created back in 2011, and sees Kim rock glistening skin, pink PVC and bodycon frocks. Yep, some things never change... And here it is for your own Friday amusement:

The song, which was the brainchild of acclaimed music producer The-Dream, actually had really good intentions. Rather than attempt to break the internet (though we're sure that would have been a welcome bonus) all the proceeds from the sale of the single were donated to the St. Jude's Hospital and, to give her the credit she deserves, Kim herself now realises how ludicrous her involvement in the project was.

Speaking to US talk-show host Andy Cohen she said, "It's definitely a memory and it was a fun experience. We gave the proceeds to a cancer organisation. But if there's one thing in life that I wish I didn't do... I don't like it when people kind of dabble into things they shouldn't be. And that I don't think I should have. Like, what gave me the right to think I could be a singer? Like, I don't have a good voice."

Don't worry Kimmy — we can't all be Taylor Swift now, can we?
