Here's What Giorgio Armani Had To say About Madonna's Cape...

The designer was behind the now infamous cape that caused Madonna to dramatically fall over at the BRITs

Giorgio Armani must have had a serious face palm moment when he watched Madonna take a tumble at the BRITs in a cape he had designed.

As we're sure the whole world is by now aware, the 56-year-old pop star fell down several stairs in a rather dramatic fashion after one of her dancers pulled her cape during her performance of Living For Love, and it failed to come off as planned.

But speaking after his Emporio Armani show at Milan Fashion Week, the designer told press that Madonna's accident was, in fact, all down to her being 'difficult'.

'Madonna, as we know, is very difficult,' Armani said, with his tongue firmly in his cheek.

'This cape had a hook and she wanted a tie, and she wasn’t able to open it with her hands. That’s all there is to it.'

Despite suffering whiplash as a result of the fall, Madge didn't seem too bothered about the whole thing, and certainly wasn't wagging an accusatory finger at Armani.

Taking to Instagram after the incident, Madonna shared a picture of her (upright) in the cape with the caption: 'Armani hooked me up! My beautiful cape was tied too tight! But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up! Thanks for your good wishes! I'm fine! #livingforlove.'

Sounds like they're still friends then...
