Diane Birch, the latest singer-songwriter to take the folk and soul scene by storm, is tipped to rival the likes of Feist and actor-turned-singer Zooey Deschanel with her album Bible Belt (EMI).
Diane was used to listening to the rather melancholy tones of church hymns, classical and opera as a youngster, but her lack of modern reference hasn’t failed her and only serves to add to the stripped-back vibes of her music.
The Oregon–based singer doesn’t disappoint in the style stakes either, working fashion credentials akin to the likes of Alexa Chung and Daisy Lowe. Watch this space, ladies!
We can’t wait to pick up her eclectic new album and sit back with a nice cup of tea – roll on May, we say!
