Beyonce and Taylor Swift were the big winners at the Grammy Awards 2010. Plus Lady GaGa, The Black Eyed Peas and Kings of Leon all scooped gongs
Beyonce Knowles scored six wins at last night's Grammy Awards, breaking the record for the highest number of Grammys won by a female soloist in one year.
Scooping awards for Song of the Year, Best R&B song, and Best Pop Vocal Performance for Halo, Best Contemporary R&B Album for I Am… Sasha Fierce and Best Traditional R&B Performance for At Last.
Taylor Swift was nominated in eight categories and picked up a total of four awards. The adorable country songstress made a breathless acceptance speech as she said 'This is my first Grammy you guys!'
The Black Eyed Peas came away with the gong for Best Pop Vocal Album while the Kings of Leon nabbed the Record of the Year award for Use Somebody.
Lady GaGa was not just a winner in the style stakes (WOW is all we can say about her bespoke Armani Prive wardrobe for the evening) but she took home two gongs for Best Electronic/Dance Album for The Fame and Recoding Prize for Poker Face.
La GaGa later tweeted thanking all her fans saying 'We won two grammys already… I dedicate them to u! I ruined my makeup crying!'
