Golden Globe 2014 Nominations... See Which Stars Have Made The Cut

Cate Blanchett, Jennifer Lawrence and Downton Abbey are all up for gongs...

The Golden Globe 2014 nominations are in, and we're pleased to see some of our favourite stars and some home grown talent have made it onto the list.

American Hustle looks to win big with nominations in every category, including a Best Supporting Actress nod for Jennifer Lawrence.

It looks like a strong line up for British actresses too, with Kate Winslet, Emma Thompson and Judy Dench all up for Best Actress awards. Fellow Brit star Sally Hawkins has also been nomintated for a Best Supporting Actress award for her turn in Blue Jasmine.

Not forgetting our favourite Sunday night show Downton Abbey, which is up for Best TV Series.

This year's awards, which will take place on January 12, will once again be hosted by comic-duo Amy Poehler and Tina Fey. After last year's antics, we can't wait to see what these two have up their sleeves this year.

And with the Golden Globe winners often going on to collect Oscars, are fingers are crossed for our favourite stars and films.
