Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen gives us a behind the scenes look at her amazing role at the World Cup 2014 final with her stunning photo diary...

Gisele Bundchen, one of Brazil's most famous - not to mention beautiful - exports bagged herself a very important role at the World Cup 2014 final; presenting the winning team with the highly-coveted trophy. And, in true fashionista style, she made sure to document the big event start to finish with a stunning series of Insta-snaps.

The 33-year-old was asked to present the trophy alongside retired Spanish defender, Carles Puyol, with the pair being escorted on-site in a convoy of cars carrying the precious cargo.

For the ceremony, the trophy was taken to the centre of the pitch in a custom-made trunk by luxury French fashion-house Louis Vuitton. So, it was only right that Gisele herself should be clad top-to-toe in Louis Vuitton, too.

Clearly making the most of what she's got, the model rocked a turquoise mini-dress complete with a beaded coral pattern from the label's resort 2015 collection that showed off her enviable pins perfectly. The addition of the silver metal belt gave the flirty dress a much-needed edgy twist and consequently stopped her ensemble from becoming too 'pretty'.

Finishing off her look with some stand-out monochrome heels from the same collection, they offset the pastel hue of her frock a dream. Well, you'd want to look your best if the world was watching too...

Gisele has made no secret of the fact she's a massive football fan, having posted countless selfies of herself sporting her country's strip over the course of the championship. So, we can imagine it must have been a blow to present another team with the World Cup trophy.

However, as a sixth generation German-Brazialian, we reckon a win for Germany was the next best thing...
