Gisele Bundchen beats Miranda Kerr and Kate Moss to top spot - but what does Gisele have over the other models?
It's a big year for Gisele Bundchen, as just after her stunning H&M Autumn Winter 2013 fashion campaign is released to much approval from fans worldwide, Forbes have named her as the world's highest paid supermodel.
It will be the staggering seventh year in a row that Gisele has hit the top spot, with the Brazilian beauty's 2013 earnings said to be in the eye-watering region of $42 million.
Coming in second place is our favourite Aussie super and fellow Victoria's Secret Angel, Miranda Kerr. Having similarly similarly just unveiled a wow-worthy Autumn Winter 2013 campaign with Mango, Miranda is said to have earned an equally impressive $7.2 million - meaning that Gisele earned six times more than any other supermodel on earth this year.
Both models have business ventures outside of their posing profession, with Gisele's astounding success chalked up to her partnership with Grendene, a footwear company that she has invested in within her native country. Miranda Kerr has also proved her worth when it comes to savvy business, fronting and launching her own skincare range, Kora Organics.
Following in their gorgeous footsteps on the prestigious list are a host of other household names, with Adriana Lima, Kate Moss and Liu Wen all in the top five, while Cara Delevingne and Karlie Kloss followed in quick succession, sitting in the top twenty. SM
