Sisters Moview

Is there a more genius comedy pair-up than Tina Fey and Amy Poehler? We don’t think so. This month our favourite funny women are starring in their very own movie, Sisters, and we’re giving you the chance to see it first.

So what’s it about? Tina and Amy play siblings, Maura and Kate, who decide to throw one last house party at their childhood home before their parents sell it. Unsurprisingly, things get totally out of hand – think Bridesmaids crossed with The Hangover, plus lots of 80s nostalgia.

Directed by Jason Moore (who brought us Pitch Perfect), Sisters is one of those films guaranteed to have you and your girl friends in fits of giggles from beginning to end. Fey and Poehler are their usual brilliant best as the two sisters, and they’re joined by Bridesmaids’ Maya Rudolf, who plays the neighbourhood frenemy, wrestler John Cena, who plays Tina’s party hook up, and The Mindy Project’s Ike Barinholtz, who almost steals the show as Amy’s love interest.
