X Factor fever is set to start in full force tomorrow – and we’re already hooked on the style-off between Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue.
We also can’t wait to see the transformation of the wide-eyed hopefuls who become glossier and more glamorous with every week and show that passes!
New talent includes the likes of single 19-year-old mum Stacey Solomon, who stunned Simon Cowell into silence and reduced Dannii to tears with her rendition of Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World”.
Stiff competition could come in the form of 27-year-old teacher Danyl Johnson, who sang what Cowell described as ‘the best audition that I have ever heard’.
Around 200,000 people auditioned for the X Factor, and viewers are set to see highlights of these over the next six weeks.
Just 100 people make it through to the next stage known as ‘boot camp’, before being whittled down to the top 50.
Each judge then selects six contestants from boot camp to take away for a period of mentoring, before picking three to contest the live finals, which begin in October.
It is understood this year that Cheryl Cole will again mentor the girls, Dannii Minogue will mentor the boys, Louis Walsh is looking after the groups, while Cowell is taking care of the over-25 category.
We can’t wait to see what the girls pull out of the fashion bag for the brand new series!
