Friends fans, it's the picture you've all been waiting for. After 11 long years of waiting, Ross, Rachel, Monica, Joey and Phoebe came together again for a two hour special feature to honour NBC director James Burrows, who is celebrating his 1000th time behind the camera.
Seeing them all back together again (minus Chandler, but we won't talk about that) made us mega nostalgic - and we can't wait to see the full show, which airs on 21st February
In the short clip, Andy Cohen, who hosted the event, asked the cast: ''Did you sign contracts saying you wouldn't sleep together?' And HERE'S the answer...
NBC have only gone and given us an extended preview of the show, revealing a pretty juicy detail in the process. While most of the cast only had to audition once, Lisa Kudrow was called back for a second time - and only just found out she was the only one! Maybe it was because Ellen Degeneres was first pick to play Phoebe?
And who's that with them? Yep, it's the cast of The Big Bang Theory! We all owe Kaley Cuoco for posting the very first look at the Friends reunion on her Instagram page - 103k likes and counting.
But let's not forget, there's one very important cast member missing from this set up. While NBC Chief Robert Greenblatt did admit it could be a logistical nightmare to get them all together, we had high hopes, only to be crushed by this statement from Matthew Perry's representative, Lisa Kastelar: “Regarding Matthew Perry and the James Burrows tribute, Matthew will not be attending, as he is in London in rehearsals for his play. NBC executives were aware of this prior to their TCA announcement yesterday. Matthew may tape something for the tribute. In other words, this is not the reunion people have been hoping for".
The programme is coming sooner than you think, too. Mark your calendars and set your alarms for Sunday 21st February. The show is airing in America, but thanks to the wonders of YouTube, we should have clips the very next day.
We’re not sure yet whether this reunion will literally just be Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer in the same room again (to be honest, that would be enough…) or if the cast will actually film a new scene, 11 years after the final episode aired in 2004.
Are Ross and Rachel celebrating their 10-year anniversary? Will they explain Chandler's absence with a divorce from Monica? Did Joey ever star in another successful soap opera? We all know Phoebe’s been hanging out with Smelly Cat and Taylor Swift…
Before Perry's announcement, NBC chief Robert Greenblatt told the Television Critics Association “I’m hoping all six will be in the same room at the same time, but I’m not sure we can logistically pull it off”. You were right there, Rob.
Newlywed Jen An did say that she thought it ended at the right time, but we’re hoping she can tear herself away from new husband Justin Theroux for this. You can read what the rest of the cast had to say about a Friends reunion in the past here.
