Freida Pinto and her co-stars James Franco and Tom Felton looked to be having a ball on the red carpet last night at the premiere of their new film, Rise of the Planet of the Apes. From Franco’s ear-to-ear grin to Harry Potter star Rupert Grint’s customised T-shirt proclaiming love for his pal Tom Felton, it looks like the cast are as close as they were during filming. And although Grint isn’t in the film, he certainly looked part of the gang as they posed for photos and chatted to their fans.
GO BEHIND-THE-SCENES ON SET WITH JAMES FRANCO
Clad in an emerald-green Oscar de la Renta gown, Pinto outshone the boys in the style stakes although Felton, who plays baddie Draco Malfoy in the Potter series, looked pretty darn dashing in his three-piece suit and Brazilian tan (he was fresh from vaycay with girlfriend Jade Olivia).
The film, set in modern-day San Francisco, tells the tale of a genetic engineering experiment led by Franco’s character gone awry and the ensuing conflict between the new super-species of apes and mankind. Sounds like pretty dramatic stuff!
