How To Listen To Frank Ocean’s (Two!) New Albums

Frank Ocean new album alert!

Frank Ocean, what are you doing to us?! Frank’s been keeping a pretty low profile after his 2012 smash studio debut channel ORANGE, and after promising us a brand new album for three whole years now, he's only gone and dropped TWO.

A second album, no longer called Boy’s Don’t Cry as was assumed, is due this weekend.

We've been waiting a while (understatement) for Frank Ocean's new album. He once told a fan it would be out in he summer of 2014. Then, we stood by in April 2015 when Frank teased us on Tumblr with Boys Don’t Cry, a mysterious project that still hasn’t materialised. A reported release date of June 3rd came and went, July is over, and now? He even disobeyed his record label's statement that it would have been out by Wednesday. it’s fair to see why even Adele is ‘just f**king waiting for Frank f**king Ocean to come out with his album’.

Frank hasn’t been totally silent since the release of channel Orange. He penned a track for Django: Unchained, helped out Beyonce, Jay Z and Tyler, The Creator, as well as Frank’s Track on Kanye West’s Life Of Pablo.

It might feel like your life was on hold while you waited for the uenxpectedly titled Endless (it was heavily rumoured the album will be called Boys Don’t Cry, or Here It Finally Is), but until then, there was one thing you could have done to ease the pain - Download (650)82OCEAN. This app scoured Spotify, iTunes and Twitter for any Frank Ocean new album news, and the moment it sensed that the new album is out there, it texted or e-mailed you with a link to buy or stream the musical masterpiece. The app is free, but why not make a token donation to Shahzeb Khan, an engineering student and app creator?
