Charlie Hunnam has said he is going to take the role of Christian Grey "very seriously"
Fifty Shades Of Grey star Charlie Hunnam has spoken about taking on the role of lead character Christian Grey in the movie of the book, and how he is going to take the job in hand “very seriously."
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the Sons of Anarchy actor acknowledged that he might not have been everybody's first choice for the lead role in the film.
“There are so many fans of that book and I know that on the surface, I'm probably not what everybody imagined.” Hunnam said.
However, the 33-year-old isn't going to let those worries and pressures stand in the way of his portrayal of the whip-wielding Mr Grey.
“That's daunting if I allowed myself to think about it too much. I'm taking it very seriously and intend to explore the nature of who this character is, what motivates him-and also dress up nice and look good in those suits."
Directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, the Fifty Shades movie will also star Dakota Johnson in the role of Anastasia Steele with British actress Jennifer Ehle slated to play her mother.
Now the cast is taking shape, we're more eager than ever to see what the film's going to look like...
