As well as boasting a blossoming TV career and daily radio slot, Fearne Cotton has become something of a British style icon over the last few years, having cultivated her own breed of dishevelled yet girlie chic. So, it was no surprise when Fearne turned her hand to design, collaborating with online retailer Very just under two years ago.
Joined by a host of fresh-faced models last night Fearne took her spring/summer 2011 collection to the runway for the first time.
Her latest offering was a flirty blend of 60s silhouettes and prints, all in flitty fabrics and finished with backcombed locks, hairbows and some geek chic retro specs.
Fearne had selected her favourite pieces to model herself, breezing down the runway in a sheer backless lilac gown after first kicking things off in a printed tea dress, and shoes of the moment, wedge peep-toe boots.
We've got a while to go yet until the collection goes online, but we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for more style inspiration from Ms. Cotton.
