Leaving her beloved new baby, Rex, at home for the afternoon, Fearne Cotton couldn’t contain her excitement as she tweeted: “Just spent the afternoon at the V&A David Bowie exhibition. A magical sound and vision experience! Loved!”
The TV and radio star then went on to tweet the iconic Aladdin Sane album cover image of the British singer and fashion idol as she entered the exhibition, which is set to last until August 2013.
Fearne Cotton has made reference to her love for David Bowie’s style in the past. At the launch of her high street fashion range for Very.co.uk back in 2009 she cited David as inspiration for her fashion collection. When asked what inspired her the TV presenter answered: “My mother’s seventies wardrobe, Jimmy Page, Glam Rock, David Bowie – I’d say the whole collection is gothy but elegant.”
