Eva Mendes recently caused waves in the fashion world with the announcement that she's designed a clothing line - and we're even more excited after she opened up about the line on her sizzling shoot with Net-a-Porter.com's The Edit.
Eva talked all things fashion and style as she modelled some of the hottest new season threads, including Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino and Alexander McQueen amongst many more of the stellar brands featured on fashion favourite Net-a-Porter.
Talking of her designs for New York & Company, Eva revealed that she received most of her support from her mother and sisters: "Everybody was like, 'It's amazing!'" she said, before going on to reference the retro chic vibes she has channeled. "It's directly inspired by my closet," she revealed.
And after seeing her out and about in a sneak peek of her designs, we reckon Eva's instincts lie in the right place - as we recently admiring a burgundy shirt dress that oozed everyday glamour while she was on-set in Hollywood.
And Ms Mendes' ultimate style rule? "If you go short, no cleavage or anything super-fitted; if you're covered from head to toe. you can go as fitted as you like." Wise words from one stylish lady.
