It's been a big couple of weeks for Emma Watson, as just after it's announced that she is to take the lead in fantasy saga Queen of the Tearling, Emma has taken to Twitter to share with followers the first glimpse of her next big silver screen part in Noah.
Playing Ila, the adopted daughter of biblical character Noah, Emma tweeted a picture of herself looking extremely fierce as she races through a forest in medieval-esque garb - captioned "#gunningforit"!

The part transports Emma Watson to biblical times in the fantasy drama, where she will rub shoulders with an all-star cast that includes Russell Crowe (who plays Noah himself), Jennifer Connelly, Douglas Booth and Anthony Hopkins. Directed by Black Swan's Darren Aronofsky, we're expecting great things.
Filming for Noah has just started with the release date set for March 2014. After Emma Watson's comedic take in This is the End, as well as the star about to appear in the glitzy celeb-obsessed movie The Bling Ring, we're excited to see her tackle an entirely different challenge...
