Emma Stone Gives Us A Foolproof Tailoring Masterclass

Emma Stone is back on the promo-wagon for her new film Birdman and her wardrobe has certainly lived up to expectation...

Emma Stone has always been one of our favourite celeb style-stars but she just cemented her fashion maven status to no end with the amazing array of chic, tailored ensembles shes been sporting over the last few days.

The 25-year-old actress has had quite the year so far, winning over audiences in two very different flicks. Back in April, Emma starred in the box-office blockbuster The Amazing Spiderman 2, after which she then went on to make her first appearance in a Woody Allen movie in the critically acclaimed Magic In The Moonlight.

Needless to say, we were beginning to miss Emma's red-carpet appearances after the promo tour of the latter ended back in July. But now, with a new film to promote, we can expect to see a lot of Emma (and her on-point outfits) over the next few weeks. Yay!

While the red-haired starlet is certainly no stranger to gorgeous floor-sweeping gowns, for the promo-tour of her brand new film Birdman, the sartorially savvy funny-girl has taken a very sophisticated and somewhat subtle approach to her wardrobe.

We clocked Emma at the press conference of the film in New York wearing a chic monochrome dress designer by one of her favourite labels; Roland Mouret.

Featuring a sketchy-stripe print, a pencil-point collar and military inspired exposed pockets and turned up sleeves, there's nothing we don't love about this frock. Nice work, Ms Stone.

Little did we know, but this was only a stylish sign of what was still to come from Emma...

Later that day, Emma made an appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon rocking a cream skirt and black jumper combo which she jazzed-up with Kurt Geiger's iconic Britton heels - a style the actress has been known to favour for years.

While her checked skirt borders on being preppy, the cream hue and the minimal, oversized pleats give it a sleek and very grown-up spin. Yep, we're so going to be trying this look for ourselves...

Not content with just two stunning looks, Emma threw in yet another stand-out ensemble to round off her tailoring extravaganza. Sporting a pair of navy blue cropped trousers, a short sleeve jumper with a cute fluffy collar and red cross-strap Christian Louboutin heels, this girl is officially on a style roll...

So, there you have it: Emma has single-handedly proved that tailoring should no longer be brandished office-only attire. We know what we'll be wearing come Saturday night...
