Edie Campbell Rides To Victory In Vivienne Westwood At Goodwood

And Tom Cruise presented her with her prize

As well as being one of Britain's top models, Edie Campbell is also a champion horse rider, taking first place for the second time in the  Magnolia ladies' day charity race at Glorious Goodwood.

The 24-year-old model donned a pair of jodhpurs and a Vivienne Westwood silk jersey to compete in the race, alongside jewellery designer Philippa Holland and TV presenter Alexis Green. Sarah Burton and Jasmine Guinness also supplied high fashion equestrian outfits for the ladies day jockeys.

But the real star guest at the event? Well, it has to be Tom Cruise, who made a last minute appearance to present Edie with her prizes: a Theo Fennell diamond tie pin and a decanter with a silver skull.

A beaming Ms Campbell told the Telegraph that she was mostly concerned with trying to stay upright, and not fall over into the Hollywood star. 'My legs were still really wobbly after the race. A dramatic fall into the arms of Tom Cruise would not have been cool.'

We could think of worse things to fall into…
