The Welsh songstress is being lined up to lend her distinctive voice to the theme tune of the next James Bond film.
Madonna, Alicia Keys and Shirley Bassey have all had the honour bestowed upon them in the past, and it seems that Duffy could be next in line to become a Bond girl... (of sorts.)
It seems that Duffy's dulcet tones impressed studio bosses at the Ivor Novello Awards in London last night - where she also picked up the award for PRS Most Performed Work for her hit single Mercy. And now Bond producer Michael G. Wilson has spoken out about the popstrel, saying that she'd be perfect for the part.
"I would love to get Duffy to sing the next tune. I think she is wonderful," he told the The Sun. "We have started work on the new film, which I can't say anything about. Daniel Craig is very keen to get going."
So whether it all goes ahead or not, having already picked up a handful of Brits and Grammy's earlier this year, it looks like we're destined to see a lot more of the Welsh wonder in the forseeable future.
