With the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 came the end of an era and Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint said an emotional farewell
The crowds gathered last night for the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 premiere and Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint led the cast, crew and of course J.K Rowling in this last hurrah for the fantasy franchise.
Standing on stage with J.K Rowling, the Harry Potter trio shared an emotional moment.
Having flown in from New York that afternoon, Daniel greeted the crowds in a tailored three-piece suit and humbly admitted: “Every opportunity I get from now on all goes down to the fact I got very, very lucky when I was 11.”
Stunning in a tulle-tiered dress by Oscar de la Renta, Emma Watson interrupted Daniel to say: “You didn’t get lucky – you were and are the perfect Harry and will be forever.”
Before adding: “I’ve had the most amazing 10 years of my life. Thank you so much.”
